This last week we saw our first glimpse of snow. It was a cold few days but the girls had a lot of fun playing in it.
This is Lorelai's friend Kolbi and we had their family over for a picnic before school and after we took the oldest two to Kindergarten we came back and they wanted to rake the pine needles and make a "birds nest" complete with eggs (or pine cones) of which we have an abundance.
The girls are involved in a Wednesday night kids program at our church. Lorelai is in Cubbies and Ashlynn is in another program with the older kids. Lorelai was BEYOND excited to get her vest and booklet. She memorized three verses and could not stop talking about her vest, she even slept in it the first night that she got it.
The tradition carries on of painting pumpkins each year:)
