September Recap

This last month has been a lot of transitions for us. We got back into the rhythm of life again with the school year starting and Ryan's schedule getting more predictable ( I love it!). Ashlynn turned 4 years old this month and we had a family Birthday party and then we had some friends over for lunch play date ( she had a lot of fun!) We took away Lorelai's Binky, which I had dreaded for so long and it turns out to be really easy with her. (Who would have thought, not me.) We moved Lorelai into the bunk beds and out of her crib and she just loves sleeping with her sister. We then moved their two separate rooms and made them into one, so they officially share a room now. It has been a couple of weeks now and Lorelai still say to me: " Can I sleep in sissy's bed tonight?" I try to explain to her that it is her bed now, but she still is just so delighted that she continues to ask. With all the room transitions we have added another member to our home. We have a 16 year old boy named Malcolm living with us and he is going to Barlow. We are really excited that he is here and he is a great kid. It is fun to reminisce what it like to be in High School again, memories are coming back quickly. We are doing well and are just amazed at how God is orchestrating plans for his life and for him in our home. The body of Christ has really joined in and we have so many people jumping in to help and it has been so encouraging. God has been making it really clear to us that he is right where he wants him and he is honoring our stepping out in faith in this. Thank you to all who have prayed for us and who have been so generous in so many different ways.
