Let it snow....

This is a little thing that Ryan calls the Polar Express. He pulls them with his bike on the snow packed road. They love it! It is perfect with just a little snow, but he learned it is quite harder to ride a bike and pull the kids if the snow is deep.
We did a little night sledding the other evening in some little hills right next to our house.

We have gotten several patches of snow this season which would last for about a week and then melt for a few days and then get a little bit more. Well this last week there has been a big dumping of the snow! Lots of and lots of it and it doesn't look like it is letting up anytime soon. We are definitely new to this cold winter climate, we both have lived in Gresham all of our lives up until this point. So this new change is fun and different, but a little hard to get used to. It sure is beautiful though, I am sure that in few months it will have lost some if it's luster and I will be begging for rain and spring to arrive. It is kind of weird to be in a place where weather doesn't change much. Church and school almost never get canceled and life keeps on going. We are trying to enjoy it as much as possible because who knows where God will take and lead us. For now we will take it all in and treasure where he has put us at this current time and place.
