We had a quick trip to Liepold farms to pick out our carving pumpkin this year. Last year Ryan carved a Cinderella picture from one of those carving kits and it was really impressive. It will be fun to see what we come up with this year.
We also grew a few pumpkins in our garden this season and they were not quite the right shape for carving so we painted them. Note to self... painting should not be be done on carpet with a messy 3 year old.

That is so funny because before I read your comment about the paint I was thinking you were so brave to let them paint over carpet! ha! Ryan's pumpkin from last year is really impressive!!
